Today I want to share about a place with a good scenery.
Just like my blog post before, this place is also located in Belitung, Indonesia.
今日は景色のいい場所についてシェアしたいと思います。
私の前のブログの記事と同じく、今回の場所もインドネシアのBelitung（ビリトン）にあります。
Maybe some of you already know, not only blessed with a beautiful nature, Belitung is also rich of natural resources such as tin and granite. Especially tin, the mining was started during the Dutch colonization era on 1851. Other than that, there is also kaolin (or kaolinite), a white colored clay mineral that have lots of benefits such as curing diarrhea and some skin inflammation.
皆さんの中に既にご存知の方はいるかもしれないですが、きれいな景色だけではなく、ビリトンは錫や花崗岩のような天然資源で豊富な島です。特に錫、錫の鉱業は1851年にオランダの植民地化の時代から開始されたそうです。それ以外に、白い粘土のような鉱石、カオリン、又はカオリナイトと呼ばれる鉱物もあります。カオリナイトは肌の炎症や下痢のために効果があるそうです。
In Belitung there is a remaining of a kaolin mine that turns into a crater. People call this place as Kaolin Lake.
ところで、ビリトンでは湖になったカオリナイトの鉱山があります。カオリン湖と呼ばれています。
Beautiful scenery isn't it?
きれいな景色でしょう。
Even though there is only kaolin lake and the clear sky with some clouds, lots of travelers came to visit this kaolin lake to take a photo together, or simply just to enjoy the wonderful view.
ここにはカオリン湖と白い雲で飾った青空しかないですが、友たちと一緒に写真を撮ったり、またはただ素敵な景色を見たりするだけの旅行者が大勢来ています。

This kaolin lake is located in Desa Air Raya, Tanjung Pandan. Only takes around 10 minutes by car from Tanjung Pandan to reach this place.
このカオリン湖はTanjung PandanのAir Raya村に存在しています。Tanjung Pandanからここまで車で約10分ぐらいの距離です。
Different with the white crater in West Java that was made naturaly by the volcanic activities, this place was made by the exploitation of Belitung's natural resources. But in the other side, kaolin also have lots of benefits for being a material for rubber, paint, paper, ceramic and other industries. How ironic.
西ジャワにある自然的に火山活動でできた白い噴火口と違って、この場所はビリトンの天然資源の搾取でできた湖です。一方、カオリナイトはゴム、塗料、紙、セラミック等の業界に色々な効用があります。こういうのは皮肉な事っていうのかな。
Because of it's nature beauty, the locals said that this place often visited by lots of photography lovers to hunt for good scenery photo. Sometimes also used as a pre-wedding photo shoot location.
自然の綺麗さのおかげで、この場所はいい写真を撮るために写真好きの人たちがよく来ているそうです。また、時々結婚するカップルに結婚式の前の写真撮影の場所として使われているそうです。
